Welcome to the website of The Tanjeloff Impact Corp. ("the Organization", "we", "us"). By using this website, creating a donor account, or making a gift, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who we are

The Tanjeloff Impact Corp. is a nonprofit organization exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We maintain a permanent endowment whose investment growth funds our charitable mission of covering essential medical costs for patients in need.

Gifts are charitable contributions, not investments

Every donation is an irrevocable charitable contribution to the Organization. When you give, you do not purchase, own, or hold any interest in the endowment, its investments, or the Organization. The figures shown in your donor account, including your amount in the endowment, are informational illustrations of the impact of your past giving. They are not account balances, securities, deposits, or amounts you can withdraw, redeem, or transfer, and they are not guaranteed. Nothing on this site is investment, legal, or tax advice.

Donations and refunds

Gifts are generally non-refundable. If a gift was made in error, contact us promptly at nicholas@thetanjeloffimpact.org and we will review the request in good faith and in accordance with applicable law. In-kind gifts are credited to donor accounts at their net sale proceeds; tax substantiation for in-kind gifts follows IRS rules and your own qualified appraisal where required.

Donor accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We may suspend or close accounts that provide false information, abuse the site, or violate these terms.

Leaderboard and public display

Our community leaderboard publicly displays donor names and lifetime giving totals. You control this: choosing "Appear as Anonymous" in your account hides your name while keeping your rank. Fundraiser pages publicly display the group's name, totals, and recent gifts, with each giver's anonymity choice honored.

Fundraising accounts

Fundraising accounts and their public pages may only be used to raise genuine gifts for the Organization. Misleading solicitation, fees charged to givers, or use of our name and marks beyond the fundraiser page itself are not permitted without written consent.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access data that is not yours. The site, its design, logos, and content belong to the Organization or its licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without permission.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organization will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules.
