Year one is for growing. Every gift in the endowment is invested, and at the end of our founding year the first annual delivery will fund our first recoveries. From that day on, this page shows exactly what your generosity has paid for, updated with every delivery, forever.
How deliveries work
Once a year, a share of the endowment's investment returns, never the gifts themselves, pays medical costs for patients chosen at complete random, funding the minimum full care needed for a complete recovery. A high-water-mark rule protects the endowment in down years, so the fund only ever compounds.
